What is the date of the 2010 swim next August
i am looking for that informatin as well. i haven’t found it anywhere online. has the 2010 date been determined yet?
Hi Pam and Don. Make sure you send me a picture at DYoung6962@aol.com or introduce yourself at the event this summer. I have to meet people that are thinking about the swim before the Superbowl has even been played.
The swim will be on Saturday August 7, 2010. The first Saturday in August! I talked to Eric this morning and he is really jazzed about the improvements coming to the Long Bridge Swim website and especially the new revamped online Registration form.

I plan on doing the 16th Annual swim…I am a first timer…so yeah, a virgin…HaHa.. I’m having trouble with the link for the registration form and/or the online registration. Link is not working. I’m driving up from Pullman Friday evening and wondering where is a good place to camp. I’d like to go where there may be other swimmers camping so as to socialize as I do not know anyone who is doing the swim. Also wondering if there will be boats in the water in case people get into trouble out there. Not expecting to but just in case…
Hi Sue … Here is the link: http://longbridgeswim.org/ for the Long Bridge Swim. I asked about camping and the Bonner County Fairgrounds was suggested along with Springy Point Campground.
Don’t worry about not knowing anyone else, you are about to make many friends. Try updating me on Facebook before you leave Pullman and I will try to find some more appealing options: http://www.facebook.com/Bashful.Dan
Make sure you come by the microphone at the beach and say hello after the swim!
Dan
There a plenty of watercraft monitoring the swimmers from start to finish! We have never lost a swimmer - especially from Moscow
