Camp Invention

Is this a picture of the very first printing press?   Riddle me this Batman.   What can be taken apart and put back together and be something new?   Your kids can find out over five exciting days after they crash land their spaceship on Planet Zak.   That’s right my young inventor friends … Camp Invention is coming to the Bird Aviation Museum and Invention Center in Sandpoint, Idaho.  Rachel Riddle has raised the bar for Camp Invention which is sponsored by the National Inventor’s Hall of Fame and the United States Patent and Trademark Office.   Most first year camps have about 30 kids.   Rachel’s goal is 50 kids.  Sign up by January 31st, 2008 and pay $175.  $185 thru March 31 and $205 after that for the July 7-11, 2008 event.  Contact Rachel Riddle at rachel@birdaviatiionmuseum.com to sign up your kids, volunteer to help, and get more information.   How cool is Rachel?

Drs. Pam and Forrest Bird want to stimulate kids interest in technology and science.   One kid, with one great idea, can change the world.   Is it your kid?  Find out when Camp Invention comes to Sandpoint in July 2008.   Dr. Pam Bird authored the book “Inventing for Dummies” and has an incredible resume in the world of inventions.   The girl in the picture is operating a 360 degree camera by playing a harmonica.  She should have read the book, right?   Dr. Forrest Bird is in the Aviation and Invention Hall of Fame.   Rachel Riddle should either be bronzed or dipped in milk chocolate and coated with a thin candy shell … she is just that precious and sweet!
